Annual Shutdown Period

We are closed for our annual summer shutdown from Monday 14th September 2020, re-opening Monday 21st September. During this period our phones will be switched off and all enquiries (emails/contact forms) will be dealt with in full upon our return to the office. After an extremely busy and stressful 5 months (we remained open the entire time working 7-day shift patterns), the whole John Skinner team is looking forward to a well-deserved break. Shopping with Us

Due to our extensive product offering & our knowledge in supplying interior trim for classic cars renowned for their inconsistencies on original factory production lines, our ordering process works a little differently to your average online shop.

To provide you with an accurate shopping experience, we ‘proof-read’ all quotations submitted through our website before taking any payment. This gives us the opportunity to ensure that you have selected all parts correctly, haven’t missed anything important or added items to your quotation that you don’t need.

How to build your Quotation

Any products you are interested in, simply select the items from our online shop & click Add to Quotation.

When you are ready to proceed, select Submit Your Quotation.

You will be guided through a number of online steps to input your details and important information about your car. The more information you can provide us with at this stage, the better the service we can offer to you to advise the most suitable options for your restoration. Our online form can accept images and files for any documentation about your car you may wish to share with us – this may include heritage certificates or detailed photographs.

At this stage, we will also request shipping and billing details – although no payment will be taken. This is so that we can accurately calculate VAT / Tax (if applicable) and shipping costs.

Please note, until you have submitted your quotation to the sales team, the total cost of your quotation is exclusive of any shipping costs. These will be calculated on receipt of your quotation to our Sales Team who can then accurately price a shipping cost based on the size/weight and end destination of your product requirements.

After submitting your quotation, a member of the John Skinner (Manufacturing) Ltd Sales Team will aim to be in touch within 48 hours (there may be a delay in our response during weekends and public holidays) to confirm:

i) all items have been added to Your Quotation correctly for your make and model of car;

ii) the final shipping cost;

iii) your final colour selection / or to arrange to send out sample swatch cuttings to you for review;

iv) the lead time estimation based on your product selections.

On confirmation of all the above, a Sales Order will be confirmed and payment will be requested.
